The work

The deliberately irregular shape highlights the handwork and the shared gesture; the surface records the small traces of the workmanship, like a signature. Located on the windowsill, near the “tulip tree”, the bowl enters domestic life: it welcomes variable light, drawings and objects, and becomes a point of view for those who live in the house (even the daughter who splashes with the pencil). It doesn't just represent a tool: it is the result of doing together that counteracts the feeling of loneliness and preserves the memory of the journey and the return.
